Utilization of these devices has proliferated among health-conscious consumers in recent years and is likely to continue rapid expansion and integration into more formalized medical settings. Among these, mobile health-or “mHealth” is a component of digital health, defined by the NA, World Health Organization, 2011, World Health Organization, 2018-as “medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices, such as mobile phones, patient monitoring devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other wireless devices” ( ) ( ). This concept encompasses telehealth, electronic health records, implantable device monitoring, wearable sensor data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), behavioral health, and personalized medicine.
